Vancouver is an accessible, active and public transit-friendly city. The best way to get around to FIFA World Cup 2026™ events and other destinations is to take public transit, walk, bike and roll. During the tournament, public transportation will be in high use across Vancouver. Keep up to date on matchdays and times, road closures, and plan your trip accordingly.

Who We Are

MATCHES

Matches will take place at BC Place Vancouver located in downtown Vancouver. The best way to get to matches at the stadium is on public transit. Extra transit service will be added to accommodate spectators. If you’re staying downtown, then walking to the stadium is also a great option. Additionally, make use of our e-bike or e-scooter share systems, ride-hailing providers or bring your own bike and use our extensive bike routes.

The FIFA Fan Festival™ Vancouver will take place in Hastings Park on the PNE grounds. There will be many ways to get there, but no matter how you travel we recommend that you arrive early to allow time at the gates for lining up, or to find parking.

Travelling from Vancouver’s International airport

The Canada Line SkyTrain connects Vancouver’s International airport (YVR) to downtown Vancouver in under 30 minutes. Be sure to arrive at the airport at least two hours ahead for domestic flights and three hours for travel to the U.S. or international destinations to allow for check in, security screening, and border processing. Visit Transport Canada for what you can bring into Canada and the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (CATSA) for items permitted past security screening points.

We are honoured to welcome local residents and guests to FIFA World Cup 26™ Vancouver on the shared ancestral and unceded territories of xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. We have stewarded these lands and waters since time immemorial.  
 
Together we are proud to have partnered with the Province of B.C. and the City of Vancouver in hosting this historic tournament. We recognize the unique opportunity to share our histories and cultures with the world and generate legacies for the next seven generations in our communities, all the while celebrating the spirit of the beautiful game.

We acknowledge this land is situated on the unceded traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam Indian Band), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh Nation).
