Vancouver football fans score! FIFA Fan Festival™ location revealed

With just two years to go, the City of Vancouver revealed the location of the highly anticipated FIFA Fan Festival Vancouver™ to be Hastings Park, also known as the PNE. Overlooking beautiful Burrard Inlet with stunning panoramic views of the North Shore mountains, the site will be the best place to watch your favourite teams play without a match ticket, come 2026. Imagine watching Canada on the big screen of the new amphitheatre with thousands of others.

"The FIFA Fan Festival Vancouver promises to be the ultimate destination for those without a match ticket to soak in the excitement during the 2026 tournament," said Vancouver Mayor Ken Sim. "Packed with live entertainment, cultural showcases, delicious food, and so much more, this event is set to create an unforgettable fan experience right here in Vancouver. Families, football lovers, and visitors will be buzzing about it for generations to come!”

As one of British Columbia’s best-known locations for fun, entertainment and community, hosting millions of people annually at Hastings Park, the PNE is a natural fit for the FIFA Fan Festival™ site. Fan Festival guests will be especially excited to visit the state-of-the-art new amphitheatre, which will be a major legacy piece for British Columbia as well as a showcase of environmental sustainability and spectacular Canadian wood construction.

“The PNE is absolutely thrilled to be named the official FIFA Fan Festival site,” said PNE President and CEO, Shelley Frost. “This is an opportunity to host not only our city and province, but the entire world in a once-in-a-generation event for any city. Additionally, the spectacular new amphitheatre, which will open in time for FIFA World Cup 2026, will be an important arts and cultural legacy venue for British Columbia.”

The FIFA Fan Festival™ will be a full-blown celebration of the beautiful game for hundreds-of-millions of people, featuring in multiple host cities across North America, including Vancouver and the other 15 tournament host cities. From coast to coast, fans will unite to cheer on their favourite teams on the big screen and celebrate their passion for football and our city, together.
